Just a sec... I know, right…?

Resumé

About me

Hello! I am Misi Rácz, User Experience Designer living in Budapest, Hungary.

The short version
I have extensive experience in designing enterprise and SaaS applications. So far I have been working on pharma, telecomunications, IT, video streaming and asset management products, and I’m open to get to know further domains.

Recently I’ve been moving toward design strategy.

Otherwise I’m a father, a runner, a climber and an aspiring drummer.

In details

What keeps me going:

  • things to learn – it’s mostly about domains but design methods as well
  • creating meaningful solutions to real problems – not generating demand for unnecessary things
  • contributing to the product’s concept, combining business requirements, technical/resource limitations and still be the voice of the end user – but I like to design microinteractions as well
  • working in close relationship with product management and frontend/backend engineers
  • doing the remote thing but knowing my colleagues personally – face to face conversations are of key importance
  • participating in UX research to see how the product does “out in the wild”

Recent reviews stated that:

  • product owners and engineers like to work with me – I respect developers’ time and the way they work, I take their “pain” into consideration, I don’t design impossible things and I’m ready to adjust my work
  • I am a fast learner
  • I’m punctual, I deliver in time or communicate problems before they become actual blockers
  • I respond quickly when approached
  • I am able to plan for the long term while doing the tasks at hand
  • I’m an avid advocate of the users’ needs
  • Residence: Budapest, Hungary
